SIAL Paris 2026, Day 5: Thank You to Every Partner and Every New Buyer Who Visited Our Booth
In short
SIAL Paris 2026 has closed. Over five days at Hall 6A, Booth F001 we met long-standing partners and new buyers from China, the United States, Canada, Europe and the GCC. Thank you to all of them, and to the SIAL Paris team behind one of the biggest food events in the world. Our team now heads back to Egypt to turn every requirement into a written offer and to open the new season’s contracts.
Five days that ended with a thank you
A trade show looks like a week of meetings. It is really a week of people deciding whether they want to work with you. Over the five days of SIAL Paris 2026 our stand was never about a brochure — it was about sitting down with a buyer, understanding what their line actually needs, and being straight about what we can and cannot do.
So the last word of this show belongs to the people who gave us their time: the partners who came back to us, and the new companies who walked into Hall 6A, Booth F001 and started a conversation that did not exist a week ago. Thank you.
We met buyers from China, the USA, Canada, Europe and the GCC
Five markets, five different sets of priorities, one shared question: can this supplier hold a specification for a whole season?
What each of them brought to the table was different — pack formats for retail in one market, bulk cartons for industry in another, a calibre band here, a label or certification question there. What they have in common is that none of them is a lead to be chased. Each one is a relationship we intend to build properly, over seasons rather than shipments.
Thank you to the SIAL Paris team
It is easy to take an event of this size for granted when you are standing inside it. SIAL Paris brings the food industry together at a scale very few events in the world manage, and the organisation behind it — the halls, the logistics, the matchmaking, the handling of thousands of exhibitors and visitors — is an enormous amount of work done quietly. Thank you to the SIAL Paris team for the effort. It showed, every day.
Next: back to Egypt and into the new season
Our team is now heading home. The work that follows a show is the part that decides whether the show was worth it:
· Writing up every customer requirement taken at the stand — variety, cut, calibre, Brix, pack, label, destination port.
· Converting those requirements into written offers and samples against that exact specification.
· Arranging the new season’s contracts. Egyptian strawberries are harvested and frozen from December to June, so the volumes discussed in Paris are committed now, not later.
For reference, what we were quoting at the stand: Festival and Fortuna strawberries, whole in 15–25 mm and 25–35 mm calibres or diced at 10×10 mm and 15×15 mm, minimum 7° Brix, stored and shipped at −18 °C or colder, roughly 24–26 tonnes in a 40-foot reefer in 10 kg cartons — alongside the rest of our IQF vegetable range. Production runs under FSSC 22000 and GLOBALG.A.P., with US FDA and China GACC registrations active.
The most important thing you build at a show is the relationship
If there is one thing we take home from SIAL Paris 2026, it is this: products get compared and prices get beaten, but relationships are what survive a difficult season. And a relationship is only worth something if it is built on two things.
Transparency — tell the buyer what the crop is really doing, what the calibre split really looks like, and when a shipment will really be ready. Discipline — do what you said you would do, at the specification you agreed, on every single container, including the ones nobody is watching.
That is how we intend to work with every company we met this week.
We met in Paris — let us finish it in writing
Send us the variety, cut, calibre, pack and destination port, and we will come back with a written offer and a sample against that exact specification.

What happens after the show?
Every requirement taken at the stand is written up, turned into an offer and a sample against that exact specification, and where the buyer is ready, into a new-season contract. The Egyptian strawberry crop is frozen from December to June, so season volumes are committed in advance.
How do I request an offer from Egy Berries?
Send the variety, cut, calibre, Brix requirement, pack format and destination port by WhatsApp or email, and we will reply with a written offer and sample arrangements.
